My dear son/daughter if someone approaches you and surprises you with this statement:
Prove to me that God exists!
May be few decades back, when your parents were kids, they grew up and never heard such statement and such things never came to their minds.
Why is that?
This is because the concept of God’s existence is axiomatic, logical and an obvious innate necessity, which we feel and sense with our hearts and souls.
In fact every existing creature is an apparent evidence for that and denying that is nonsensical.
But, today, due to the revolutionary leaps in technology, progressive advancement of communication and wicked exploitation of the liberals for media, kids, as young as 6 years old or younger, are exposed to such an evil statement!
So, you as a young Muslim boy or girl should be equipped with the right and correct arguments to defend your faith in order to attain God’s promise to His believers, which is an eternal bliss in paradise.
Let’s start together and proof how illogical and innate contradicting it is to deny God’s existence.
Of course there are multitude of logical proofs presented in the Qur’ān and reality; inshaa’ Allāh few of these proofs should do the job.
Present the following picture to the person asking for proofs of God’s existence.
Ask him: when a paleontologist, who is specialized in fossils, walks into a cave and sees this drawing on the cave’s wall, can you convince him that this drawing is a product of coincidence due to erupting volcanoes, wind, dust, chalk and chemical reactions throughout thousands or millions of years?
He should say: No paleontologist will accept this!
In fact the paleontologist will explain to the questioner that this drawing presupposes a level of human intellect and ability and it can never be a product of coincidence.
Then show him this picture:
And ask him: similarly, can these real happy kids in this picture be a product of coincidence?
He will sound dishonest if he says: Yes!
Tell him: If this static, simple and primitive cave’s drawing presupposes a designer, then shouldn’t the second picture presuppose a more wise, knowledge and able Creator? Especially, when we see these kids are living creatures, who are able to move, speak, eat, socialize, think and enjoy life.
Allāh, the Glorified and Exalted, said: (He created the heavens and earth in truth and formed you and perfected your forms; and to Him is the [final] destination) (Noble Qur’ān 64:3)
Allāh, the Glorified and Exalted, said: (We have certainly created man in the best of stature) (Noble Qur’ān 95:4)
Common sense left no room for denying God’s existence.
My dear son/daughter, may Allāh safeguard you, keep in mind, Allāh SWT had presented to us enough signs to lead us to Him. No matter how disturbing the Atheists’ arguments are, Alhamdulilah, we have scholars and students of knowledge who have brilliantly refuted these illogical doubts.
